The oval silver pendant acts as a frame to a gold-coloured bird. The reverse is hallmarked ‘GLS’, for Graham Leishman Stewart, sterling silver, Edinburgh and the millennium mark ‘2000’. The pendant is suspended from a snake chain which is also stamped ‘925’ for sterling silver.

Graham Leishman Stewart was one of Scotland’s foremost goldsmiths. His work can be found in numerous prestigious collections including the Scottish Parliament, Aberdeen Art Gallery, Blair Castle and the Royal Collection Trust to name a few. After graduating from Gray’s School of Art in Aberdeen, he established his own shop in Dunblane in 1978.
