The hallmarks are for Chester, 1913, but the makers, George and David Edwards, were based in Buchanan Street, Glasgow. They were also known to have their makers punch registered at the Assay Offices of Glasgow, Edinburgh and Sheffield. They are recorded as being diamond merchants as well as manufacturing goldsmiths.
